Day 18: yutu!uh

Hello guys!

 

Today I have to talk about the website YouTube, that I think it's an incredible support. It's provides me links of videos to my carrer, I mean, that are forgive me great support or help for my exams or studies. In my opinion it's the easiest page in the internet to use or search anything I want, for my studies or just for fun. Things like documentaries or music videos, also classes are recorded. This page have anything you need, it's make for the lazy studen that doesn't want to search into the libraries jaja, but it's more than that, because it have material that the others massive website doesn't have, like "ilegal videos", I try to say.. mm.. videos without copyright, like "personal videos", this is important for the videos of clases in the universities that are recorded by a phone cam.  To me, this page is a great support. I visit Youtube daily and I prefer this page because I dont have, for example, cable tv, and I can't see documentaries in the Discovery Channel or History chanel, also the videos what I say before.Youtube have so many documentaries and videos of everything, it's an amazing tool for all kind of people.

Day 17: We are what we eat or drink jaja

Hello guys!

This is one of my last post, and in this time, I have to talk about the food. What we eat its very interesting because of the sentence of the headline, "We are what we eat", and I couldn't agree more with that (like my teacher). One of the most weird things what I ever eaten was worms, but more specifically "Tebo" worms for fishing jaja. Never in my life I eat something like that, they taste like.. mm.. bitter and they texture are like gum drops jaja but not with sugar or sugary. I'm suggest to never eat "tebo" worms, because of this.. but, in the world there are many things to eat, for food, and it’s so different for the countries in all parts of the world, for this thing, My suggestion its, taste were ever you want jaja and after make your opinion. For finish this, in the sentence, "We are what we eat", I'm a "tebo" worm, I'm like a worm and that it’s not too far to the reality. But in my life I taste and eat one or two weird things, first the worms, and secondly I taste sake. Sake it’s an alcohol drink for the Japanese people, it’s like a ritual drink because they give sake for  offering to the gods, but also they drink sake in different bars.. anyway, I drink sake with my brother and it’s too strong and its taste like wine but with a different texture, like.. mm.. "Agua ardiente" or "Pisco", its taste really nice and also I suggest try to drink if given the opportunity. The Japanese meal (in this case, drinks) are the best! jaja.

Day 16: Greenmind

Hi guys!

 

This is my Green post! jaja yes, it's like a "Save The Planet" post, but it's a very important post. In my life I would like to learn about the nature and the environment, because I'm live right here, the world itself its changing and it need us, need to know from it. It's like an existential question, but it's very important think about the weather and the animal life. We share the world with animals and the other people and we need to understand that first for make a question that what to do for save the planet. When you understand that first, the world it's more beautiful and open for everyone, the world it's for all, and it's very fragile, it need us, for real. In the same way, I'm a member of Greenpeace, for - i think - save my conscience jaja.. I don't have the strength what I need it to become a member, an activist member I try to say, but I donate a lil bit of money, that's not a problem. This post, for me, it's never finish. We need to work for the world and.. my input for this cause it's little but, it's part in the big cause for the greenpeople, for Greenpeace or the ambientalist. You must to think that.. the world and the nature, it's for the future, for our sons or nephews or anyone in the future. When you manage to think in this, the world it's so different, in a better way.

Day 15: Be and fly

Hello guys!

The chinese zodiac are one of that things I want to believe.. really, but the tipic itself it's like magic, you know?.. and for that it's more interesting haha.. im the goat in the chinese zodiac and in the "normal" zodiac I'm Aries and the conecction its very clear.. at the same time, my sing its of fire.. Mars its my planet.. jaja I know this things because my sisters taugh me, but it was a very interesting.. I know what means the "Zodiac" and the stars, the universo and the energy about this, but this things have explanation, a theoretical explanation. The anthropology and the philosophy try to explain this and have so many points for this type of believe of this persons. The magic inside this have the culture marked in the souls of the Chinese persons. They believe in many things that for western people don't have really sence. It's because of that, my interest in this topic.

In other way, one of my dreams (the other day I talk this with my friend) its be an animal, but not any animal, I want to be a bird, any kind of bird. For once, doesn' matter the duration, for one day almost, i want to be. the birds and their ability to fly disturbs me. Why the humans can't do it? Just the feel the wind al over my body, makes me imagine posibilities of anything. Traveling or just move in that way, its just beaituful. But, i don't  really sad for that, because, they are posibilities to fly for the humans. If have a chance to try the freefall on a plane, do not hesitate. Someday in the future, maybe would do it, and for me, thats would be like a dream come true.

In the 19th Century in Japan, exist  artists, those made very interesting pieces of art. They was painters, and the topics of those paints was the erotism and sex. Kitagawa Utamaro and Nishikawa Sukenobu are some of this artists. This is an article for "theguardian" page of internet and was write for Jonathan Jones. Explain a little about an exhibition of this japanese art in the British Museum. The important right now, its the way to saw this art, because the sex in that century in Japan, its not like the pornography in our own time. The erotism or the sex itself are very explicit, but "shunga prints" celebrate "sex as a sensual act, and everyone has a good time". This prints there's no violence or cruelty, Jones says, "no sense of sin". This is very important, because we know the pornography in this time, and the dirtyness or the violence, are the most modern and popular topics, but in that century in Japan, the people, its more like, sense people, or that its what the prints says. "Shunga was the underground art of samurai Japan", because in that time, Confucian its trying to save the morality, but shunga print laugh, sensuality, this art its sexy, but don't pass the line of morality, because embrace with the sense, turning the oficial worldview upsidedown.

Day 13: kawaii stuff

Hi guys!

Today I like to talk about one of my favourite topics, that is the japanese animation. In first place, its not japanese animation itself because this a very long topic, I talk about the anime, one of his variations and one of my NEW favourite anime it Sakurasou no pet na kanojou. Jaja, its my new favourite because I love the anime, watch and read anime (named Manga) its like my "B" side, my freaky mode, or some of my geeks interest jaja and stuff. The story begins when Kanda Sorata, a guy what want  study in a art school far away of his home, and because of that he have to live in a dormitory. When he finds a cat, and he is kick out of that place. And he is assign to Sakurasou, a dormitory for troublemakers students. And here meet Shiina Mashiro, a very cute girl and a genious of art, but she its like a little girl that can't take care of oneself, and Sorata take care of she. Their relationship its like a person (Sorata) with a pet (Mashiro). This anime its a romantic comedy and I laught in all the caps. Day 12: my mind in many places

Hello guys!

Today I like to talk about one place to what i want to go in some moment in my life. I'm think in that for many time, and i think that the place for me its Alaska, because his northern lights. The dream of my life, its see for one time, or just a moment, his northern lights. The lights has a myth. The people says that if you're lucky, you can listen the lights, but the sound has never been recorded, obviously why the myth jajaja, but the place itself have magic, the nature and the not toxic and full of stars sky (not like Santiago jaja) makes this place like a dream. But despite being a very cold place, these lights make it worthwhile. When i was a billionare person (because in that moment could have the money to travel jaja), want to go there and die in, with the sound of lights, if i was lucky.

Day 11: My future

Hi guys!

Welcome again to my world, i have personal feelings for this, but I'm ver happy for the same, and today, I like to talk about, my future. In simple way, i try to pass my grade in the university first, but i don't like to work in my career, because its a little bit booring jaja. i have in mind to take a curse of bartender and work in the nightclubs of Buenos Aires, Argentina. After, when i finish my carrer, i like go to Buenos Aires, doing a study trip, but i have in mind stay there and live as a bartender. my future it's very uncertain but i'm very positive in that. "Never give up", and run to what i want, it's my thought. I don't have in mind to leave any kind of studys, i want to be a film director, but the bartender it's the most realistic kind of person i'd be, because of me jajaja

Day 10: My life and stuff

Hello guys,

Today is a sad day for everyone, because I don't have to write again in this blog, and I know you could be sad for that jajaja (my cuteness and intellect can be missed JAJAJA, a little narcissistic joke). Well, for the same reasons, today, I want to talk about my experience in the days have to write here. In my personal opinion, this blog be used for my fluency in the pronunciation, because, went I write in the blog, I think in English, its obviously, and that feels very great, because of that I feel very secure for talk in English, or more than the past year. The experience itself be fun and interesting. Talk about my life, or my career, its fun and I recognize that many times, don't want to do. This experience was an opportunity to look myself, I suppose jajaja. I have one suggestion for the class itself, its for the way to teach English, but not the general way, mm.. I mean, in my opinion, we want to learn the specific terms and technical terms in Art. We don't know many terms, and in this case, I suppose we want to learn.. or not? jajaja.

Well, guys.. was a pleasure to spend my time with all, and I say goodbye to everybody.. like a Miss Universe with the hand jajaja.

Day 9: magic

Hello guys,

Today, its a beautiful day, and have a lot of energy.. because the sun in the sky, don't know, but thanks that its not hard to me, to express. And, today i like to talk about the subjects i like in my career. The first one, and they will tell is Fetiche. This is a subject of philosophy give in the Sciences  University Education (UMCE). The subject talk about the magic, and the religion or the first beliefs of the humanity, study how the people began to believe in the things, like deities or gods. But the interesting thing about that, is the magic. The "MANA" or the energy we all have in the inside, or like another dimension, in the world, which runs all this energy, that makes things have another essence. I could explain in many ways, but the important and, the thing i like about Fetiche, its the magic, and the study of that, in anthropological form, and the philosophycal form (or Estetic form, which is the part we study in Theory and History of Art). This subject, managed to enlarged my idea of the magic exist.

day 8 1/2: without

Hi guys, now i like to talk about a video i saw recently, that calls "A Darwinian Theory of Beauty" by Denis Duton. He was study Theory and History of Art, like us in class. My career constantly arguing about the Beauty like concept. This topic is for a long time, but, in this video, for me, i liked a phrase: "Beauty is a nature's way to acting at a distance". In this sense, the nature's beauty its not too different than the artistic beauty. We can understand that the nature's beauty is provided  in our genes, for the "natural selection" (Darwin), but, at the same time, the artistic beauty, passes through the act of looking, like the natures. The action in a rational man, makes the action itself, as the pillar of beauty. Without the language, just need look, not just using the eyes. Need look with actions, of contemplation. Maybe the beauty can be "natural", but, in more intimate sense, beauty is nothing without action.

day 8: abstraction

Hi monkeys! jajaja today i like to talk about art. the stunning and mysterious art. for the beginning. this painter is not the typical renascence painter, or romantic, or "the seeker of light in the colors" jajaja, this is a painter, who likes the abstraction in all his letters, the letters of politics in the meaning of his context. The painter is Kazimir Malevich. He is a Russian painter, who live in the time of Bolshevik Revolution, in the late XIX Century and early XX Century. In this time, Russia have a social-economic and politic crisis, affecting the whole society of this country, with the Tsar Alejandro II was in the government. And thanks to that, was born a new movement of Art (its not an art style, but an artistic movement). In this time, Malevich makes a painting so weird, but a extremely mysterious. "Black square on a white background". Suprematism has been born with Malevich. The absolute abstraction, but in the same way, the perfection of form, and the infinity of space. Sometimes, the most simply things, have in so much words. Violence without violence, form without form, color without color. Malevich don't say anything of this. For he, his painting was a shield against the traditionalism of the Art itself, and the traditionalism of the government. The people can speak without words, the absolute abstraction can be infinity of thought. This square.. just, this square.

day 7: timeshare

Today i like to talk about one of my favourites topics, because the photos are the best way to framing a moment to be remembered. And at this time, I like to share with you guys, one of my most important moment with respect to friendship, the marriage of one of my friends.

The name of the convicted HAHAHA it's Daniel, known as "El Loco Flaco". He is the 7th from left to right, not counting the bride, obviously jaja. I'm of the right of he, and my smile its completely true because on that day, I enjoyed the company of all my friends. I have live in Santiago at least the past three years and my friendship with my guys in Concepción not lost for nothing. Althoug I travel every few months dealing with them has always been the same, like when we were little. The same historys to laugh, or jokes told by them makes me laugh all night long. I really miss my friends because Santiago it's not the same as Concepción. The people are too cold and indifferent (sentimentally speaking) but are some exeptions, of course. The city are beautifull, in the end you end up getting used, but my career it's the most important right now, and finish is what I.

To finish would add the important of marriage. For me is passage to adulthood, and reminds me I too someday will be, but despite that, friendship will be exist. The distance only makes it stronger.

Today, I have homework, i have to correct one of my classmates, I do not like, but i have to.. hahaha.. this is the text, by karinamih:

I will tell you why La Pianiste by Michael Haneke is my favourite film... Erika Kohut is 40 years old and she is a piano teacher who works at Vienna Conservatory. Erika lives with her old mother. The mother wants her daughter remains all her life with her. She has the control of the Erika’s life(She has the control of Erika's life). But the strictness of musical discipline and the insistent surveillance mother repress to Erika who seeks a release in the sex(...who seeks release in sex). Erika has a piano student who falls in love for her, but she tortures him.

I love this film because the protagonist is Isabelle Huppert. She is absolutly my favourite actress!! Usually, Isabelle Huppert works in intellectual films and she was the muse of Claude Chabrol. Recently she has worked in the film "Amour" also by Michael Haneke… I think that in the character of Erika Kohut, Isabelle Huppert speaks with her eyes. Through her expression we can see the character's thoughts!! I think that she is wonderful!(i think she is wonderful) ...Annie Girardot plays the character of the mother. Girardot was a great actress but, unfortunatelly, she’s dead the last year(she died last year)
Michael Haneke is my favourite director. He is from Austria. I think that he is a genius! (i think he is a genious!) He has created a new conception of cinema, a new language because he shows another dimension of things, of the psychology characters. He shows the real disgrace of humanity. He reveals through his films the banality of everyday life. Michael Haneke is not just a film director, is a philosopher!

day 5: my representation

Hello guys!

Today, i want to talk about one of my favorites topics worldwide and countless times hahaha.. i'm going to talk about my favorite film, it's really hard to talk about it, becouse i like too many movies and series, but this movie in particulary, capture my attention.When i saw it for the very first time. Fight Club, it's an American Film made in 1999, based on the 1996 novel with the same name by Chuck Palahniuk. This film was directed by David Fincher (also director of Seven, and The curious case of Benjamin Button, among others). and the stars on it are, Brad Pitt, Edward Norton and Helena Bonham Carter. Norton plays the unnamed protagonist, "everyman", who is discontented with his job, mmm... or the sistematic-job, "with a collar in your neck". Well, he creates a "Fight Club", a place where you fight for all your problems. eventually this club became a "brotherhood". Norton creates the club with a parner, Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt), and becomes embroiled in a relationship with him, Norton and a dissolute women, Marla Singer, played by Helena Bonham Carter. I love this movie, because the plot is very intense and realistic. Norton have too many psychological problems, but in the film. he is a "normal guy", as we are. His angry and nostalgic for a better place.. it's part of me, well, in my opinion. The ending, the climax... are the best!! the violence and destruction, is a perfect metaphor for the life itself.

In my opinion its the easiest page in the internet to use or search anything I want or the world want, for studies or just for fun. Things like documentaries or music videos, until classes are recorded, this page have anything you want. To me, this page is a great support. I visit Youtube daily and i prefer this page because i dont have, for example, cable tv, and the documentaries in the Discovery Channel or History Channel i can't see them, but Youtube have so many documentaries and i don't have this problem thanks to this.

day 3: my sounds

Hello guys,

Today i talk about one of my favourite topics in all world hahaha, i talk about my favourite band music. It is A Perfect Circle. This is an American rock group formed in 1999 by the guitarist Billy Howerdel and Tool vocalist Maynard James Keenan. The stylistic content of the songs has remained consistent with Howerdel as composer, and Keenan penning the lyrics and melodies. This rock group are really awesome and the better of this group are the lyrics, you can find in them too much anger or peace, boundless variability. The song that I like so hard of this band is called The Package, because in the lyrics shows the ease of deception and how easy it is to lie within romantic relationships just to get what you want. The sad and hard reality.

Well, at this time, i like to talk about a little bit of me. I'm starting with my age. I have 22 years old and I was born on March 26, 1991 in Concepción. I have my lovely parents of course and I have three brothers, well, one brother and two sisters, older than me. I'm studying Theory and History of Art, and it is an interesting career. The most part of time I spend my time reading or writing about art of course, it's not bad, but is too relaxed. I like a lot of things apart art, like video games or a lot of television series and spend my time playing video games or going to cinema, or going parties, or just walk on the streets of Santiago.
